Description
It’s with a massive heavy heart that we can longer keep our family dog (rubble), he really is one of a kind and just a good boy.
He has been a family pet since a 8 weeks and has grown in a house full of kids with special needs and several other types of animals/pets.
He doesn’t have a single bad bone in his body and just wants to be loved. He absolutely loves everything and everyone and thrives on companionship.
Housing issues are forcing us to make a very very difficult choice. He can be over submissive with other dogs and still needs some interaction but has never been aggressive or even grumpy to man or beast. If there was any other way we would keep him because he is truly that lovely.
His mother was a bulldog and father a French bulldog so he is quite a lump at 27-29kg but is a real gentle giant. He does have the French bulldogs high energy but then like an English bulldog spends all other times asleep (snoring). He has excellent recall and loves praise exercises and is genuinely great on and off the lead.
he will sit, stay, come and lay all on verbal command as well as hand signals. He does get a slight limp at the end of most walks and even doesn’t bare full weight on his back left leg. The vet has checked this and there is just a repetitive strain from being birthed, he never seems to be bothered about and will still be fully mobile and shows zero sign of any pain. I have a small video on here which is coming to the end of a two hour walk which shows this and how it doesn’t affect him.
He has been fully neutered and is chipped. Would love to see him go to a great home where he can get plenty of exercise and lots of loving attention and have the life we can no longer give him. He genuinely is the sweetest lump of a dog and should be given the time and love he deserves. he is a strong dog and in typical bulldog fashion they don’t go around things when they can go through them so wouldn’t be suited to someone elderly or unstable on their feet. He has been around all ages of children and has grown up in a family of 9 all varying in ages from babies-toddlers to teenagers and adults including the elderly and the disabled. We Paid over a thousand pound for him when he was little but don’t really want too much for him, more a small sum for all the extra bed-bedding and accessories he will come with and as token of how serious a new owner is. Will be asking £100 but may be open to negotiations especially for the right placement. Most of all we as a family would love for him to be as loved as he was with us and become an integral part of someone else’s pack
