Description
we’re looking to responsibly rehome our 11 month old female shepinois, coco 🐾
this is not a decision we’ve made lightly, but we want to do what’s best for her long-term and find her a home that can fully meet her needs.
about coco:
- 11 months old
- german shepherd x belgian malinois
- very intelligent, high-energy, and eager to learn
- affectionate and bonds strongly with her people
- currently lives in a home with cats and has shown she can be calm around them in some situations
important to know:
- coco is still adjusting to a new environment
- she struggles with being left alone (barking/whining)
- can become overstimulated on walks and may bark at surroundings
- has shown destructive behaviour when left with too much freedom
- will need ongoing training, structure, and consistency
this is not a beginner dog. she would be best suited to:
- someone with experience of shepherds, malinois, or working breeds
- a home where she won’t be left alone for long periods initially
- someone committed to training and mental stimulation
why we’re rehoming:
we want to be honest - due to her needs and our current situation (including other pets), we’re struggling to give her the environment she truly requires.
what we’re looking for:
- a knowledgeable, committed home
- someone willing to take the time to train and work with her
- ideally no young children while she’s still learning
rehoming fee applies (to ensure she goes to a serious home)
we’re happy to answer any questions and want to make sure she goes to the right home, not just a quick one.
she'll come with everything she needs, like some food, harness and chain lead, slip lead, puppy training collar with remote (vibrations and noise, not shock), her blankets that she can't sleep without, her food bowls and stand her them (wet food, dry food and water bowls) and treat puzzle.
