He is an extremely affectionate, people-loving dog with a naturally calm and gentle nature. In all the time I’ve had him, he has never shown any aggression—he has never bitten or intentionally hurt anyone. He is confident in himself and naturally alert around the home, showing a sensible protective instinct when something is unusual, but he remains fully controlled, trustworthy, and easy to live with. One of the things I value most about him is how intelligent he is. He is very responsive, eager to learn, and easy to train, and he picks up commands and tricks quickly. He knows things like sit, speak, roll over, and jump, and he listens carefully and responds well when spoken to. Physically, he is active, athletic, and well-balanced. At two years old, he has shown no signs of breathing difficulties or back problems, and he enjoys being active, playful, and comfortable in everyday life. His temperament is what really stands out: he is loving without being clingy, confident without being difficult, alert without being reactive, and intelligent without being hard to manage.
