Description
Meet our beautiful Labradoodle x Husky mix named Snow. She is 1 year and 2 months old and is the perfect example of this athletic crossbreed. She does not have a typical Poodle coat she has a Labrador-style coat that will shed seasonally. Unlike a traditional Labradoodle, she has the classic short, dense double coat (she is a shedding dog!) and the powerful build of her parent breeds.
Snow or “Snowy” as we like to call her is just an amazing, beautiful, expressive girl with a "big" personality that requires the right understanding, effort & exercise:
Snow is initially shy and timid when meeting new people or entering new environments. However, once she warms up to you and realises she’s safe, she becomes the sweetest, most affectionate companion you could ask for. When she is engaged, she is incredibly focused and always ready to be playful, often getting into a 'play bow' to show she's ready for affection and action.
Her Ideal Home:
Have a secure, fenced garden where she can burn off energy safely.
• Be active outdoorsy people who enjoy long walks or runs.
• Have the patience to let her come out of her shell at her own pace.
• Ideally, have experience with high-energy or shy dogs.
Traits:
She has a really good recall, loves to go for walks, loves to play - can play for hours, loves food, really good listener, really good at alerting & despite her being initially shy and reserved she is a sweetheart around people and other dogs.
Dislikes:
She does not like loud noises like the hoover or sound like a bag opening. She is not used to being the only dog left at home, as she usually always has her dad or mum with her. She is not crate trained as we always had another dog with her either inside or outside the house. So she may need training to be left alone.
Summary
Sadly we are looking to rehome Snow as we also live with her dad and we have a newborn baby unfortunately everyday life has become extremely hard to plan around at the moment. As she needs a lot of requirements like exercise and stimulation it’s unfair that we cannot offer this like somebody else can and unlike her dad it’s hard to manage. We have future plans and we think rehoming her is the best option. We usually need a third party to look after both dogs so if me and my partner are unavailable from work or childcare duties or other outside activities so sadly it’s become too much.
