PRICES 🐣 Day-old / young unsexed chicks £5 each 3 for £14 5 for £22 10 for £40 🌿 Feathered growers – unsexed £6 each 3 for £17 5 for £27 10 for £50 🐦 Sexed Mixed Coturnix Males – £5 each Females – £10 each 🥚 Point-of-lay females (approx. 6–8+ weeks) £12 each 🥚 Proven laying females £15 each 💙 CELADON MALES – 3 AVAILABLE Sexed Celadon Coturnix males – £8 each All 3 – £20 Celadon Coturnix carry the genetics associated with the beautiful blue/blue-green egg trait. These males would be suitable for someone wanting to introduce Celadon genetics into their breeding programme. Please note that males obviously don’t lay blue eggs 😂 and offspring egg colour depends on the genetics of both parents. Why keep Coturnix quail? Coturnix are fantastic little birds and are particularly popular because of how quickly they grow and mature. 🐣 Fast growing – they develop much faster than chickens and can reach maturity at approximately 6–8 weeks. 🥚 Early layers – females commonly begin laying from around 6–8 weeks, although individual birds can take a little longer. 🥚 Excellent egg production – once established and kept under suitable conditions, productive Coturnix hens can lay approximately 250–300 eggs per year. 🏡 Small and manageable – their compact size makes them a great option for people who would like to keep poultry without the space required for a large chicken flock. 🌾 Our chicks are raised on quality 29% protein quail starter crumb and carefully monitored from hatch. Young birds are sold unsexed until they are old enough for us to confidently determine their sex. 📍 Collection from Carmarthenshire, West Wales 📩 Message with what you’re looking for and I’ll confirm current availability.
