15.3hh Irish tb gelding. 6 years old. Chunky, sport horse looking type. Low level alrounder sort. Stands at the block, does walk trot canter and pop a few cross poles he is usually more woah than go no world beater! Still green and learning! He did race as a youngster hasn’t for a few years and as far as I’m aware he’s done very little since. He hacks alone and in company. Been great in all traffic that has passed him. Can have a few shys and look about at stuff but nothing bad. Never felt unsafe riding him. However!! On the ground.. he did come to me pushy, nippy, just not great manners. Though has never tried to kick. Since I’ve been working him he’s been fine with me and respects me. But with new people he will try it on and for this reason he needs an experienced home! He is however great for the farrier and picking his feet up, to groom and tack up etc. He did to a couple of rears leading when he was stressed though he’s never done this with me(I can explain what happened to any genuine interest)not ridden just on the ground. He will need a firm home where he knows he cannot get away with it. He is still young, learning, he’s definitely a very very clever horse who will be quick to learn good but also quick to pick up bad habits. North east based. No stable vices. Welcome to try him.
