I'm Linda, a veterinarian and mum of two young children, working in Buckinghamshire. I've never bred dogs before, despite having a great deal of experience in the area 🐾🐾
We bought Bluebell, a Bichon-Maltese 2.5 years ago as a family pet and she has been an exceptional addition to our family.
She is in perfect health and has an excellent temperament, with a heart of gold and all the patience in the world for our two young children. She gets on well with other pets and is very calm. I see hundreds of dogs a month, and she really is a special one.
While the plan wasn't to breed her, we decided we'd love her to have a litter (a few family members had expressed interest, and we'd be keeping a puppy so she would have a friend). We mated her once, expecting a litter of 3-4 pups. We were astounded to see TEN on her scan!
We spent some time looking for the ideal mate, and Dad is a fully health-tested, Kennel Club red Toy Poodle, Charlie. We made sure he also had a great temperament and were delighted to find such a friendly, healthy, well-mannered boy.
Mum weighs 7kg and dad weighs 4.5kg, meaning puppies are likely to reach a full adult weight of between 5-6kg.
Puppies were born smoothly on the 1st Sept, and Bluebell has been an attentive mother since; feeding and caring for all 10.
I know first hand the important of the early socialisation window and ensuring these puppies will love people and will fit right into a family household.
The aim is to create happy, well-adjusted and healthy pets.
We've been gently handling them and introducing them to a variety of people, household noises and experiences (like the hoover, radio, fireworks sounds, doorbells, postmen, visitors, etc.). We do it all at their pace, ensuring they are coping well and growing in confidence.
While there is no such thing as a truly 'hypoallergenic' dog, this is as close as you'll get. Parent breeds shed very little.
Anecdotally, my son has dog allergies and gets rashes and hives after touching certain breeds, including Labradors and Huskies. He has no reaction to mum, dad or puppies.
As a vet, I'm able to check the pups over daily, and am happy to say that all are in excellent health.
-They will be Microchipped and Vaccinated (DHP, L4) before re-homing. De-worming with Panacur 🩺
-They will be going with 4 weeks free Insurance and a bag of the Food they have been weaned on (Pooch & Mutt Puppy) 🍽️

💜Purple Collar: Girl. Mellow but confident.
❤️Red Collar: Girl. Loves to play with siblings, was the first to walk and enjoys exploring her pen.
💚Green Collar: Boy. Reserved.
🖤Black Collar: Boy. Reserved.
🩵Blue Collar: Boy. Content and handsome chap, and always happy to play along with the others. Very happy for cuddles in arms!
🥎Neon Collar: Girl. Affectionate and energetic. Happiest when using her siblings as a pillow.
🤍Collarless: Boy. This little man is the smallest of the litter (born this way) and likely to reach an adult weight of just 3-4kg. Despite his small size, he is lively and loving.
🧡Orange Collar: Girl. Very gentle and easygoing. Enjoys a snooze but quickly wakes for any fun or feeding on offer.
💛Yellow Collar: Girl: Energetic and loves a little play- both with us and her siblings.
