Jasper is an exceptional sheepdog; well bred, driven and intelligent with real class. He works on Dartmoor every day being one of the main farm dogs and relied on heavily during lambing. Not only this, he also has the ability to turn his hand from large bunches to small packets on the trial field where he has won multiple trials across different counties.
Truly, his temperament is one of the best Border Collies I have ever met - he is good with people and other dogs alike, happy in the truck, and not afraid of anything. He can be seen with his litter sister, who is travelling to Scotland this September to compete in the World Sheepdog Trials 2026, and also a few of his adult offspring working the farm which can be seen if desired. They, too, are reliable, well tempered, driven and intelligent dogs.
Jasper is the whole package, with great structure and conformation. He is a well balanced, solid dog with true athleticism able to navigate gorse, walls, ditches and rivers when working the moors. A good topline, great shoulders, and a powerful hind end gives him the scope to produce exceptional sport dogs as well as fantastic sheepdogs and active pets.
