Description
Seal had a home, but in the end, I was too worried about how much time could be given to him by first-time dog owners. These puppies mean the world to us. They will be going to the best homes, not the first homes. We have said no to a few homes. Whilst spaniel/dog experience isn’t necessary, we would love it. We just want to make sure people understand what to expect with this amazing breed and that what you put in is what you get out. Seal is, I suspect, my favourite, he has the best puppy eyes! He is not even 5 weeks yet and is mostly wees and poos on the fake grass. He loves playing with his big sister Belle. He is a great explorer and loves coming back to base for his cuddles! He settles himself well to sleep. He is going to be an all round gorgeous dog.
Our adored family pet Marley has had a beautiful litter of 8 chocolate and tri coloured spaniels. Mum is amazing and already has them in a routine, this is a very calm and contented litter. Dad, Bear is KC registered and very similar in nature to mum. Dad is on the smaller side, and we expect this litter to be too. Marley's line is all KC, but she's not registered as for more biddability and a calmer nature, we wanted a little bit of lab in her!
This is Marley's second litter. She had a litter 2 years ago, and we kept her daughter, Belle/Belly, so the puppies will be used to other dogs. Mum is really clever, known to catch a squirrel or 3 if given the opportunity. Her party trick is climbing trees. She learns commands quickly and crosses roads off lead.
Our last litter all had local homes and we didn’t have to advertise, so I'm very nervous about this. We still see all Belle's siblings regularly. We want loving homes and absolutely no breeders. Whilst this is only my second litter, I have worked with dogs for years. I find that the parent's natures are key to the nature and temperament of dogs. Too many breeders out there breed with dogs that shouldn't, unfortunately, breed. I can already see mum and dad's calm nature in the puppies!
Both parents are fully health checked. The puppies will be wormed, microchipped, vet checked etc before they leave us. Most importantly, for future parents, we plan to have them toilet-trained by the time they leave us, like last time.
