Two gentle souls looking for one loving forever home. Zazu (M, 1,7yo) and Teo (M, 1yo) are two beautiful boys who haven’t had the easiest start in life. Both were rescued as young kittens, having already experienced more pain and hardship than any little soul should. Zazu was rescued at just five months old, suffering from painful dental issues, while Teo was rescued at only a few weeks old with a paw injury and anaemia. Their early months were spent recovering, healing and learning that the world could be a safe place. Understandably, those difficult beginnings have shaped their personalities. Both boys are shy and sensitive, and neither is the type to rush up to a stranger demanding cuddles. They need time to observe, feel secure and build trust at their own pace. But sometimes, the most beautiful friendships begin when two souls need each other most. Zazu and Teo met in foster care, and what started as a simple introduction gradually blossomed into a very special bond. Zazu has always had a soft spot for kittens. He’s naturally gentle and nurturing, often taking kittens under his wing, grooming them, playing with them and looking after them like a proud big brother. So when little Teo came into his life, it was only natural that Zazu would gravitate towards him. And for Teo, who has always found comfort and confidence in the company of other cats, Zazu became exactly the kind of companion he needed. Over time, their friendship grew, and Zazu took on the role of Teo’s big brother. Two boys who had experienced difficult beginnings found comfort, companionship and a little more confidence in each other. And just like that, a beautiful pair was formed! Despite their shared shyness, both boys have their own wonderful personalities. Zazu is the more affectionate of the two once he feels comfortable. He’s sweet, playful, cheeky and curious, and enjoys gentle strokes, a good wrestling session and, of course, treats! He also has the most beautiful nurturing side, particularly around kittens, whom he loves to groom, play with and look after like a proud big brother. That’s how he and Teo became a duo! Teo is our quieter, more reserved boy. Human interaction can still feel overwhelming for him, but around other cats, he comes alive! He loves to play, explore and enjoy the companionship of his feline friends. Watching him find confidence in their company is a lovely reminder of just how much potential this sensitive little boy has. We’re looking for a special home willing to welcome Zazu and Teo together. They would thrive in a calm, understanding environment with someone who appreciates that not every cat arrives ready to be held or cuddled. They need patience, consistency, gentle encouragement and, most importantly, the freedom to settle without pressure. Zazu and Teo aren’t your typical instant cuddle buddies. They’re the kind of cats whose trust is built through quiet moments, small victories and kindness repeated day after day. And that’s what makes giving boys like them a chance so special. They’ve already spent so much of their young lives overcoming difficult beginnings. Now they deserve the opportunity to grow, feel safe and discover what it truly means to belong. Two boys.
