Description
Penny đŸ
Female | Approx. 2 Years Old | Fostered in the UK Derby.
Penny is a sweet, affectionate little girl with a gentle nature and a huge heart. While she can be a little shy when meeting new people, once she learns to trust you she quickly becomes a loving companion who enjoys fuss, cuddles, toys, and being close to her humans.
Since arriving in foster care, Penny has made fantastic progress. Her confidence is growing every day, and she is learning that the world isnât quite as scary as she first thought. She is a lovely example of a dog who simply needs patience, kindness, and understanding to truly shine.
About Penny
Penny lives happily alongside her foster familyâs resident dog and enjoys canine company. She is playful, friendly, and has shown no issues around other dogs in the home. She loves playing with toys and enjoys spending time relaxing next to her doggy friends.
Although still a little nervous around strangers, Penny is improving daily and is becoming more confident on her walks. She responds well to gentle encouragement and is beginning to enjoy exploring her surroundings.

Cats
Penny has not lived with cats in foster care. However, she has seen cats whilst out on walks and has shown very little interest or reaction.
Children
As Penny can still be nervous in new situations, we would be looking for a calm home environment. Older, sensible children 7+ may be considered, but we would discuss this with potential adopters on an individual basis.
