Due to someone dropping out from taking home one of our pups a female PWD puppy has become available.
There is no specific female pup available as we have not yet situated pups with owners yet.
Puppy allocation:
We don’t generally let new families chose their pup we just ask what sex preference you guys have.
The reason for this is, from experience we used to allow families to chose. Then people would call and say their pup was too energetic or too lazy.
When people view pups they only see them for approx 1-2 hours which in that time they could be sleepy or hyperactive. Whereas we watch them grow and are with them most hours of the day so get to see their personalities come through.
From this we allocate pups to families based on personality. Such as a calmer pup to those who are retired and have a chilled lifestyle. Then the more outgoing energetic pups, we tend to put with young families and active couples.
We ask people when they visit to pick 3 pups they like and bond with and we try our best to give you the best suit from the 3 pups you liked.
It’s worked out brilliant in the past and people have been a bit taken back at the thought of a pup being chosen for them.
But then message us later down the line to say what a perfect match them and their new family member is.

Both Mum and Dad have been chosen because of their great loving temperament and we believe they are beautiful example of the PWD breed. Both mum and dad have all necessary health checks PWDs need before putting them to mating to ensure you are getting quality assured pups. All pups will leave with a puppy pack to ensure you are provided with all the information you need for a PWD, along with a life time of assurance from ourselves at the kennel. Pups will be wormed, health checked by an appropriate vet, have 1st vaccines and be microchipped following government guidelines.
We are experienced breeders who take pride in being part of the PWD club of Great Britain and part of the kennel club assured breeders scheme. Our aim is to provide what we think are perfect quality pups to your loving homes.

Pups are bred with health as the main focus and will be brought up in a home environment full of enrichment to ensure your pup has the best start to life.
All of our litters are KC registered and full paperwork will be given on sale including contract and receipt for purchase. We also embrace Lucy's Law. We encourage you to come and view our pups at home with their mother, relax meet the dogs ourselves and our home to ask questions and meet the breed, from pups to 10 year old PWDs. . We also encourage where possible to visit other breeders homes/set ups to compare and make your decision based upon your experience with breeders and their puppy environments.
We ask questions to ensure that only 5 star quality homes are what our pups will be going to.
We are passionate about Portuguese Water Dogs and have over 10 years of experience and are happy to answer any questions.
Our pups will have also had daily Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and daily Scent Introduction (ESI) starting from day 3.
This helps aid their development, resilience and coping mechanisms.
