Description
Peggy & Frank have once again produced a large litter of lovely little border collie pups.
We have 4 boys and 3 girls remaining and looking for their forever homes. Sorry for the bad photos, we have started weaning and they had just eaten, and OBVIOUSLY been charging about in food and water because thats normal behaviour... its incredibly hard to keep them still right now 😂 They have been eating both wet and dry food, and a lot of it! I will update the pics as they grow and happy to send to potential owners. They are being raised in a very busy, noisy household, with other dogs, cats, and kids ranging in age from 4 - 18, so they are not shy!
Both parents are from working lines; Peggy is 5 years old, from a working sheep farm in Uxbridge in London, but her ancestors are from Chatsworth in the Peak District, her parents were both working sheepdogs. Frank was from a cattle/dairy farm in Chesterfield, both of his parents were working cattle herders, so he was bred for size and agility, rather than looks 😂
Both have settled from a working lifestyle into being fantastic pets with brilliant temperaments.
We have had one previous litter from this pair, and the pups have grown up absolutely beautiful and well behaved - I've included some pictures of some of the previous pups that you can have a look at. We kept the runt from the last litter with us, and one lives next door so you can meet them if you wish!
Pups can be viewed with mum and dad, and will be microchipped and vet checked before leaving. They have been treated for worms every 2 weeks since birth, and will be flea treated at 8 weeks old. They will all come with 4 weeks free insurance with PetPlan, a box of toys, lead and collars, bowls, puppy training pads, food to last a week, a folder with their flea and worming treatment record, and a birth certificate which is a bit of a novelty, but kids love it, and it has some info on it that you may find useful in the future. They will be ready to collect from Tuesday 9th June onwards.
Despite Peggy and Frank being black and white, they produce Tri Colour Tan Point pups - Frank's mum was tricolour, but as every dog we know of in Peggy's lineage was black and white, the tan points came as a surprise. There are 4 tri colour ones available in this liiter, and 3 black and white. All the pups will carry the Tri colour gene. The previous Tri colour pups from the last litter are quite a diluted shade of tan, more of a beige but it has developed more as they have grown, so will expect the same from these ones.
The pups will grow to having either a smooth (like Dad) or short-medium rough coat (like Mum) - there will be no fully long haired dogs from the litter.
DARK BLUE - Black & White boy, lovely little beauty spot on his nose!
RED - Tri Colour boy, with "ticked" markings like his dad, already rocking the one ear up, one ear down look, but both ears will pop up eventually.
GREEN - Tri Colour boy, the smallest of the bunch, very large white mask on his face.
LIGHT BLUE - Black & White boy, very large white mask on his face
GREY - Tri Colour girl, really nice unusual markings, almost a lightning bolt shape connecting the white on her head to the back of her neck.
LIGHT PINK - Tri Colour girl, looking to be a fluffy one!
DARK PINK - Black & White girl, ticked markings like her dad, the biggest of the bunch so far!
All of them have varying degrees of white socks, and the classic dipstick tails 🩷
Once again - sorry for the bad pics at this stage, they are filthy little beasts and I will make sure they have a bath before any viewings 😂 You are welcome to come and view them any time - be warned, if you have a certain puppy in mind, you are very likely to be "chosen" by a different one and change your mind when you arrive haha
We are based in Dinnington, S25 - just outside of Worksop, and on the outskirts of Sheffield and Rotherham.
£50 deposit will reserve the pup of your choice.
Any questions - just ask!
Thanks for looking x
