Meet Albie 💙 Male 1 year old Medium/Large sized Available for adoption Location: Foster home in Kent 💙 Albie hasn’t been in his foster home very long yet but he is getting used to the sights and sounds of living on his very first house. Albie is trying his best but is still quite nervous of people he doesn’t know and situations he’s never encountered before. At first he is scared of visitors to the house so will bark at them, or run for comfort but he comes out of his shell once he realizes they are just friends he hasn’t met yet. Albie lives with other dogs in his foster home. This isn’t a requirement in his forever home but it does seem to help his confidence to have another dog around for guidance. He does need to be fed separately currently though as he has a tendency to resource guard food and toys. Albie loves to play outside and gets very excited. He is happy to wear a collar but is still scared of the lead so further training will be required to make him feel safe. Albie hasn’t lived with children but has shown himself to be friendly and gentle with people he knows so he would be suitable for a home with calm children after introductions. Albie has been described as “a beautiful dog with a lovely spirit about him, once he’s comfortable with you he will be your best friend”.
