Description

Kiko was found roaming in the Spanish countryside, either lost or dumped by a hunter, the fate of so many working dogs in Spain. A Spanish rescuer took him on but didn't have anywhere to put him other than an uninhabited property (see photo of him on chain). He's such a good-natured boy he was happy to be there and didn't mind being alone most of the time. When she visited he was incredibly grateful for the food and attention she gave him. The videos of him being washed and brushed are with this rescuer. He is a very good-natured and incredibly affectionate dog and has so much love to give. He is currently in foster with dogs and cats. He gets on well with all, although has been known to run after the cats in play so cats in the home would ned to be dog-savvy. He's active and as with all gundogs he needs an active adopter, willing to take him for decent daily walks. His adoption fee is a contribution towards the much higher costs of rescuing him including transport within Spain and to the UK, tests for S European diseases (all negative), chip, passport, vaccines, parasite treatment and neutering.
