Description

Almost 2 year old working cocker spaniel looking for a new home due to new health problems, no fault of her own. Rosie is a working cocker spaniel who is very loving and keen to please. Fully up to date with all vaccinations, worming/flea treatments, microchipped and vet visits. Rosie has no health problems and has been healthy since birth with Health screening also clear at birth. Rosie is yet to be spayed. Both parents working line cocker spaniels but Rosie is unregistered. Details of farther known and pictures can be provided. Rosie is a very loving dog who only seeks to please. She enjoys attention, cuddles and interaction but can also be left for reasonable amounts of time on her own with no problems. She Currently sleeps in Crate over night but is able to free roam. Rosie is fully toilet trained and enjoys the company of adults and/or children. Rosie has a lovely temperament and enjoys completing tricks such as stay, here. Sit, paw, talk, lay, ball, heal and leave it. Rosie has never shown any signs or aggression or resource guarding. Rosie can find meeting other dogs very exciting and tends to bark at other dogs when interacting/sniffing them. She has never shown any aggression towards other dogs and settles quickly after meeting, playing alongside other dogs whilst walking or in the house. Rosie is able to be recalled whilst walking and stays close when off the lead. She does have a tendency to pull at times when walking on the lead and something very exciting catches her eye. Pulling on lead is not constant and she tends to become more settled after 10 minutes of walking or put into sit position when distracted. Rosie isn’t keen on a bath but will sit nicely when being showered and washed. Rosie is often clipped by myself in winter and has shown no problems with being clipped or groomed. Rosie is good to travel and settles extremely well in the car. No problems with food or treats and she will eat anything given to her. Rosie would benefit from a home that can provide her with attention and stimulation. Due to new health problems we are now unable to provide this to her and would rather her have a home that can offer her the time she deserves. Rosie comes with all her toys, treats, crate, bedding, leads/harness, clippers and anything she owns. The perfect home is more important than money. Happy for Rosie to be met on a walk and then in the home to ensure correct family is selected for her. No time wasters.
