Re try as new forever home did not work out and then let down by someone else. Little man is still waiting for his forever home and I need him collecting as soon as possible :(
It breaks my heart to write this, but due to work commitments meaning I’ll be away more often, I need to find a loving new home for our boy, Dusty. This is not a decision we’ve taken lightly, and he truly deserves the time, attention, and love that we can’t give him right now.
Dusty is a fantastic Labrador with the kindest nature. He is amazing with children (we have two toddlers ourselves) and is fine with small dogs but after rehoming with a pack of Labs Dusty was not happy. He has a really gentle temperament and just wants to be around people.
He has never been around a cat so therefore I cannot say what he would be like. His best friend is a small black pug who is always round and he’s fine with her.
He is good off the lead and on the lead he is getting better at seeing other people or animals. As long as he’s got his teddy in his mouth he’s a happy boy on a walk.
He is fully house trained and crate trained, and very well behaved in the home. Dusty knows basic commands like sit and lay down, and he absolutely loves to play give him a ball and he’ll happily run after it and bring it straight back. One of his little quirks is that he loves carrying a toy around in his mouth, which always makes us smile.
He has not been neutered.
We’re looking for a loving home where Dusty will be treated as part of the family, with plenty of time for walks, play, and companionship. He would suit a family or someone who is around a lot and can give him the attention he thrives on.
This is a very difficult decision for us, and we will truly miss him, so finding the right home is the most important thing.
