Sadly I am having to look for a new home for my two cats, which is something I never thought I would have to do and I am absolutely devastated about it.
We are moving home and unfortunately the property we are going to rent will not allow us to take the cats, although they will allow us to have our dog. It has left us with no choice but to find them a new home.
I have Koda, a 1-year-old blue British Shorthair, and Bambi, a 2-year-old ginger tom. I would really like them to go together as they are extremely bonded and have always been together.
They are both honestly the most affectionate boys. They absolutely love a cuddle and attention.
Koda is definitely not your typical British Blue, He loves sitting on people’s laps, getting right in your face and being around people. He is such a loving boy and just wants attention all the time.
Bambi is also extremely affectionate and loves a cuddle. They both have such lovely personalities and are genuinely such special cats.
They are used to being around dogs and are good with children, so they are very used to family life.
This is an incredibly hard decision for me and I am absolutely heartbroken that I have to do this. They are not being rehomed because of anything they have done or because we don’t want them. It is purely because of our change in housing situation.
I really want them to stay together as they are so bonded, and they will only be going to the right home. I want someone who has experience with cats and understands the responsibility of taking on two cats and who will treat them as part of the family.
I will be very fussy about who they go to because I just want to know that they are going to be loved and looked after properly for the rest of their lives.
This really isn’t an easy sale for me at all and I am absolutely devastated, so please only message if you are genuinely interested and can offer them both a loving forever home together💙
