Their brothers and sisters are starting to leave for their new homes, and we now have four gorgeous boys available from our litter, ready to begin their own adventures. 🤍 NORMANDE – White & Fawn Parti ❤️ ANGUS – Beautiful Red Boy 💛 DEXTER – Our Little Cuddle Bug 💚 AUBRAC – Our Chilled-Out All-Rounder They are fully vaccinated, microchipped, vet health checked and ready to leave now. And because their vaccinations are complete, they are ready to start getting out for walks and exploring the world with their new families, in accordance with veterinary advice. ❤️ WHY OUR PUPPIES STAY WITH US A LITTLE LONGER We aren't breeders who aim to have every puppy out of the door the moment they reach 8 weeks. Our puppies will always leave us fully vaccinated and ready for their new adventures. We take care of those sometimes difficult early puppy weeks ourselves. They continue growing up with their brothers and sisters, learning through play, experiencing new things and developing their individual personalities. Those extra weeks also give us something incredibly valuable: We get to really know our puppies. We know who loves chasing a ball, who wants to be someone's shadow, who needs a moment to watch before joining in and who takes absolutely everything in his stride. That means we can help match puppies and families, rather than simply selling someone the puppy whose photograph they liked best. A puppy will hopefully be part of your family for many years. We would always rather keep one of our puppies for longer than place him in a home that isn't right for him. We want forever homes — not puppies taken home on impulse and later discovered to be the wrong fit. ☀️ THEIR WELFARE ALWAYS COMES FIRST The recent very hot weather meant we deliberately delayed advertising and viewings. Having lots of people coming and going during periods of extreme heat wasn't something we felt was right for our puppies. Keeping them cool, comfortable, settled and safe was our utmost priority. Their welfare will always be more important to us than how quickly we find them homes. Now they're fully vaccinated, their brothers and sisters are starting to leave and our four boys are ready for their next chapter. 🐶 MEET MUM & DAD Mum is Darcey, our beautiful F2 Goldendoodle, bred by me and a much-loved member of our family. Dad is Dave, a carefully selected chocolate merle Miniature Poodle. Both parents are health tested and have beautiful curly coats. Our puppies are F2B Miniature Goldendoodles and are expected to mature to approximately the size of a small Cockapoo. At 11 weeks, their gorgeous individual curly and wavy coats are really beginning to develop. 🏡 BORN & RAISED IN OUR FAMILY HOME Our puppies are born and raised as part of our family. They grow up around young children, adults, other dogs and all the normal sights, sounds and activity of a busy household. We have around 15 years' experience breeding dogs, and we believe raising a litter involves far more than feeding puppies, keeping them clean and waiting until they're old enough to leave. Those first weeks are incredibly important. We use them. 🌿 ENVIRONMENTAL ENRICHMENT & SOCIALISATION As our puppies develop, we gradually introduce them to lots of age-appropriate experiences to encourage curiosity and confidence. They've enjoyed: 🐾 Different toys, textures and surfaces 🎾 Balls and games of fetch 🌿 Running and exploring in the garden 💦 Water play ⚽ Ball pools and interactive play 👧 Growing up around young children 🐕 Living alongside other dogs 🐶 Playing and learning with their littermates 🏡 Normal household sights, sounds and routines ❤️ Lots of individual handling, play and cuddles 🛁 Bathing and grooming 💨 Hairdryers and normal grooming noises We don't want puppies whose experience of life has simply been the inside of a puppy pen. We want them to experience the world around them. 🛁 GROOMING STARTS FROM FOUR WEEKS Goldendoodle coats require regular care, so we believe grooming should become a normal part of life from an early age. Our puppies have been bathed from around four weeks old. They're accustomed to being picked up, washed, towel dried and having their coats dried. They aren't frightened of hairdryers — in fact, they love playing with them! 😂 We hope making these experiences positive and ordinary from puppyhood will make bathing and grooming much easier for their families as they grow. 🐾 LEARNING FROM THEIR BROTHERS & SISTERS Those extra weeks together are valuable for another reason. Puppies chase, wrestle, tumble, mouth and sometimes bite each other during play. If one puppy bites his brother or sister too hard, they soon let him know about it! These interactions give them lots of opportunities to begin learning bite inhibition and appropriate play. They're still puppies and teething, so puppy mouthing is perfectly normal and will still need appropriate training. But they've had additional weeks learning those early social boundaries from one another while we've dealt with some of those tougher early puppy weeks ourselves. 🚽 TOILET-TRAINING FOUNDATIONS Our puppies have been introduced to puppy pads from an early age and are beginning to understand that there are appropriate places to toilet. They're still babies, and a move into a completely new home will mean their families need to continue their toilet training. However, we've already started laying those foundations, so you're not starting completely from scratch.
