Description
Really just testing the waters here to find the perfect person or people for this boy.
This is Diesel, diesel is a 9 month old German Shepherd, unfortunately we are now diesels 3rd home since leaving his mum last year.
He is very strong minded and I think really needs an ADULT only family. He is good with children but he is very jumpy and likes to bark at them in the home (we have a 11y old and 6y old). He also barks at cats.
I am unsure of Diesels past or medical history as I have not been able to get him to the vets.
Diesel is a really lovely boy with a lot of love to give, he’s a big dog but in his head thinks he’s a chihuahua haha! He loves his food, walks, the beach, his treats oh and of course his toys! Diesel is great with other dogs and loves to run around with them! He loves his sticks, has great recall and we have done lots of training regarding waiting for his food and he is starting to listen to commands like “leave it”, “here”, “down”, “up”, “good boy”, “nicely” etc. Diesel already knows how to Sit and Wait but can test your limits haha!
Diesel has a small cyst on his head that we have previously dealt with just haven’t taken the ‘sack’ out as we were told it would just grow back.
Diesel does pull a lot on the lead and needs a lot more work hence why I think an adult only family or maybe a family with teenagers would be the best for diesel.
We have poured our heart and soul into this boy and he will come with his food and water bowls, a list of commands and things he’s used to, treats, food, bed, cage, lead and lots of toys.
Honestly this boy is just a lap dog, he loves his sofa cuddles and he loves a good game of tug of war. I just really need to find him the PERFECT FOREVER home with someone who has experience with his breed.
I would like to meet people and maybe get an idea of how they are with him on a meet and greet basis just to make sure you are the perfect fit for this boy because honestly this breaks my heart, I adore him so much but he’s just too much for our busy family and before getting him I was not given any information on this dog, he was locked in a cage and mistreated. He needs a loving and perfect home! 💙
