Hi everyone. It’s with a heavy heart that I’m looking to rehome my peacock tail oranda, Solani. I’ve only had him a few months, and after allowing time for him to settle into the tank, this little guy is incredibly energetic and dominant, compared to the rest of my tank which is very relaxed and full of slower swimmers (ranchus etc). I love him dearly but he’s starting to bully the other fish a little, he mouths the others a lot, probably without intention of nipping but he’s starting to cause injury as they can’t get away. I’ve tried separation etc, but nothing seems to be working for my tank dynamic and I’m hoping to find a loving home for him, where they’ll love him as much as I do.
He’s a beautiful fish with zero signs of injury or illness, believed to be male, around 15cm in length and roughly 6-12 months age. Please contact if interested, collection only - ME5 area - a large bag will be provided to transport him 🙂 ideally looking for around £50 which is much less than I paid as he’s a great quality fancy, but I’d like him to go somewhere where I know he’ll be taken care of!
