Simba – Simply Amazing, well-bred, well-loved, well-known 15-month-old German Shepherd looking for his forever home due to the saddest unavoidable circumstances🐾
Simba is a 15-month-old male German Shepherd who returned to us following a genuinely heartbreaking and unavoidable change in his family’s circumstances. As his breeders and owners of his mummy, we made a promise that any puppy bred by us would always have a place to land — and Simba has come straight back into our home while we carefully choose his forever family.
Simba was raised in a busy family environment in his early weeks with his mummy and our other dog, a Cocker Spaniel, alongside our two children aged 7 and 8. He has been well socialised from the start and is confident, friendly, and affectionate. He is currently doing brilliantly back in our active household and has settled extremely well despite the changes he has experienced.
He walks nicely on the lead, loves other dogs, enjoys meeting people, and thrives on attention and affection. He has plenty of energy, as expected for his age and breed, but simply needs the correct amount of daily exercise and mental stimulation — nothing out of the ordinary for a young German Shepherd. He is very much still a pup in mindset, but eager to learn and showing all the signs of becoming a truly wonderful adult dog.
As a German Shepherd of his age. Simba will need ongoing training, structure, mental stimulation, and consistent leadership. He will also need a little extra patience and reassurance while he settles into a new home after the changes he has been through. In return, he offers loyalty, affection, and an amazing bond with his people. We can share our experience and support with his transition to our home.
We are not asking for any money for Simba. Instead, we would like his new family to make a meaningful donation to an animal charity of their choice, as a way of showing genuine commitment to giving him a lifelong home.
Potential adopters are very welcome to meet Simba with his mummy and to see how his siblings are progressing. All the puppies remain in contact via a WhatsApp group that offers ongoing support and playdates, giving a clear and open picture of Simba’s background and temperament.
If you are experienced with large breeds, or willing to learn (he is around 45kg) can offer Simba time, stability, and love, and are looking for a friendly, energetic, and devoted companion, Simba could be the perfect addition to your world.
