Description
It is with a very heavy heart that I am giving up my gorgeous chins, Salt (white) and Pepper (grey), which are approximately 9/10 years old.
I have had them for 5 years but due to recently having a baby and also will be moving soon, I unfortunately do not have the time they deserve to dedicate to them anymore.
They were paired but due to them maturing Pepper has become more dominant so they have now been separated in the same cage. Top half is Salt’s safe space and Pepper’s is the lower half.
As they are nocturnal creatures they are being let out in the evening when they are more active.
Salt is more tolerant to being handled compared to Pepper however they are both incredibly curious and will climb on you once let out of their cage.
They are also super intelligent and will find any little gap to squeeze between (including kick boards in the kitchen🙈) and they don’t forget.
Salt has had a previous injury to his left arm, made worse by him nibbling, which has been treated and has healed beautifully.
I adore these animals and want them to go to a home with previous chinchilla experience or someone who is prepared to learn about and love them as much as I do.
I am happy for them to go separately however the first one to go will need to ensure that they have a cage setup.
I truly hope they bring as much joy to whoever they are rehomed to as they have for me.
