Very difficult decision – looking for a loving, experienced home
Sadly, due to health reasons, we are no longer able to give our beautiful macaw the time and attention he deserves, so we are looking for a very special and suitable home for him.
He is a 2-year-old Blue & Gold Maca name Reggie, a very healthy and beautiful bird. He has been microchipped and checked by a vet and is in excellent health.
He is a lovely boy who absolutely loves attention and interaction. He enjoys being around people, is vocal and talks, and has a lovely personality. He needs someone who understands the commitment involved with owning a macaw and can give him plenty of time, attention and companionship.
🏡 He will come with EVERYTHING:
Large quality macaw cage
Large natural wooden play tree/stand
Lots of natural wooden perches
Toys and ropes
Food and water bowls
Two boxes of supplies
One box containing his food
One box containing additional supplies, including calcium and other things he needs
Harnesses – these will also be included. We have tried using them, but unfortunately he doesn't like wearing them, so we don't force him.
All his other accessories and belongings plus another blue cage for transffering him ( vets etc.)
This is a complete setup, so the new owner will have everything needed to get started.
He is a much-loved member of our family, and this is not an easy decision. We are more interested in finding him the right home than simply selling him. We would like someone with experience with large parrots/macaws, or someone who has thoroughly researched and understands their needs.
