Description
For Sale - Bella, Cob, Mare, Aprox 13.2/3 14 years old.
Bella is with me for sale on behalf of her owner (and a good friend), however I have know this pony for around 7 years. She is the sweetest, most uncomplicated pony to have on the yard. When she came to me she settled in instantly.
To handle on the ground she is easy to catch, feed, tack up, pick her feet out, lead, load, rug etc. you name it, she’s pretty chilled about everything. She is the perfect balance of friendly but not in your face. Both myself and my boyfriend handle her and she’s absolutely amazing for us both.
I haven’t had the farrier to her yet (but will do in the next couple of weeks). Her owner has said she can be a little shy but more looking than anything nasty. As I said I’ve picked her feet out on day one with no issues and she hadn’t seen me for a while.
To ride, she is an absolute dream! I hopped on her a day after she came as she was so settled and I couldn’t have asked for more. Please don’t let her being a cob put you off as she is a warmblood in a cobs body! In the school she is sane, sensible with an incredible jump! Has popped 1.05m at home and competed (unaffiliated) at 80/90cm. I wouldn’t say she’s a total beginners pony (although she has taken complete beginners on hacks) as she has a bit of go in her but definitely has good brakes too. She’d be well suited for a competitive child/teen looking for something uncomplicated to compete.
To hack she is again sensible and unspooky. She will hack alone and in company. She is good in open spaces, however if you ask her to stand still on multiple occasions she can get a bit joggy on the spot, but has never taken off.
She is currently coming back to work but is already proving very fit and happy to be back at it. She is currently in her winter woolies but she will be clipped soon. If I had the time I’d snap her up myself as she’d be an asset to any yard and I’ve loved working with her!
She does have mild sweet itch but is easily handled with a fly rug and sprays while working and has never been an issue.
Priced at £5500 which includes her bridle and saddle, along with a rug. Based in ivinghoe Aston. Not currently open to loans but more than welcome to vets trainers etc. And please only serious enquiries only. This pony is ready to go, so if you are going to make ridiculous offers, please know they will not be accepted.
