Description
It's with a heavy heart that I'm looking for a new home for my lovely chestnut mare due to a change in my current living situation.
She is an ex-racehorse who started to be retrained and is now hacking and schooling at a low level. She has plenty of potential for the right person and would suit someone experienced who enjoys bringing on a project.
She is a sensitive and anxious mare who does not enjoy being left alone - she can stress and weave in the stable and field if isolated, so she will need a home where she has company and a consistent routine. For this reason, she is not suitable for beginners.
On the ground she is well behaved, polite to handle, and easy to do. She thrives with calm, confident handling and someone who understands anxious types. She stands good as gold for the farrier, dentist and vet.
She would make a rewarding project for an experienced rider looking to build a bond and continue her education.
The most important thing is that she goes to a kind, knowledgeable, and loving home where she will be understood and given time.
Serious enquiries only please - the right home is far more important than a quick sale.
