Description

Looking for loving, knowledgeable homes for two beautiful purebred Swiss guinea pigs. Betty – Purebred Buff Swiss, 2½ years old Betty is a well-bred, beautiful buff Swiss guinea pig who has had two small, healthy litters. She's always been a very quiet, gentle girl who generally prefers to keep herself to herself. She currently lives happily within a small herd of free-ranging females. I'd now like to retire Betty from breeding and feel she may be better suited to a quieter home with just one or two other guinea pigs, where she can enjoy a more peaceful life. Ideally, I'd love to find her a spacious indoor setup where she'll receive plenty of love, attention and care. Nutmeg – Californian Point Buff Swiss, 18 months old Nutmeg is a beautiful, friendly and sociable little girl with a lovely personality. She's had one litter of a single healthy baby and currently lives happily in a herd of free-ranging females. I'd ideally like Nutmeg to find a loving home with a spacious indoor setup where she'll receive lots of attention, enrichment and companionship. Their care and diet Both girls are happy, healthy and very well cared for. They're used to a varied diet of guinea pig pellets, plenty of hay, Readigrass, fresh vegetables and foraged weeds. They absolutely love hiding away in their hay, nibbling and foraging, so it's important that their new homes provide plenty of space, suitable hiding places and opportunities to enjoy these natural behaviours. Both girls will need the companionship of other compatible guinea pigs, if they are not rehomed together. These are very special girls, and finding the right homes for them is far more important to me than finding quick homes. IMPORTANT – SERIOUS ENQUIRIES ONLY If you're interested in offering Betty or Nutmeg a home, please tell me a little about: • Yourself and your experience with guinea pigs or other pets. • The guinea pigs you currently have, if any. • The accommodation and setup you can offer, including space, housing and enrichment. Collection from Farnham, Surrey. Please get in touch if you think you could offer either of these lovely girls the home they deserve. PRICE IS £40 EACH
