Meet This Handsome 2-Year-Old German Shepherd Boomer If you’re looking for a loyal, energetic and protective companion, this 2-year-old male German Shepherd could be the right dog for you. He is currently going through his teenage stage, so he is still learning and developing. Because of this, he would benefit greatly from continued training, structure and consistent boundaries. With the right owner and commitment, he has plenty of potential to develop into a fantastic adult dog. He is very energetic and would suit an active home where he can receive plenty of exercise, mental stimulation and training. He is naturally protective and makes an excellent property guardian, taking his role of watching over the home seriously. However, he does have some important considerations. He is not currently good with other dogs, so he would be best suited to a home where he can be managed safely and responsibly. His behaviour around young children is also uncertain, so a home with older children aged 16+ would be preferable. This isn’t a dog for someone looking for an effortless pet.
