Max – Young Foxhound Cross Looking for His Forever Home ❤️ Max is under a year old and has been with my mum since he was a puppy. He is a cross breed and wasn’t expected to reach the size and strength that he has matured to. Sadly she can no longer safely manage him on her own and has made the difficult decision to rehome him. Max is a lovely, affectionate and friendly boy. He is quiet, doesn’t bark and is fully crate trained. He loves his crate and happily settles in it both overnight and during the day. He likes to cuddle and is a very affectionate young dog! He does pull on the lead, with some occasional lunging at interesting smells. He has responded well to loose lead training but he is just too strong for my mum to hold her ground if he takes an unexpected interest in something, and we are worried she may get injured due to her age and small size. Max needs a confident owner who will continue working on his training. He has never showed any aggression, resource guarding or other negative behaviours. This is a genuine and reluctant rehoming, so finding the right home is important to us. Please only enquire if you genuinely feel you can give Max the time, exercise, training and loving home he deserves.
