🐾💛 MEET BUTTONS 💛🐾 This sweet little pup has the waggiest tail and the sunniest personality! 🌞 Buttons and her mum were found lost in Romania, tiny and very underweight. 😢 Even as a baby, Buttons had been hurt. Her front leg was damaged probably from being kicked or hit with something. 💔 We looked into surgery but decided with our vet it was kinder not to, and seeing her zoom around happily, they know it was the right call! 🐶💨 Since arriving in foster, Buttons has started to relax and blossom 🌸 🧸 She loves her toys 🌿 She's curious about everything and loves exploring the garden 🛋️ She adores lap cuddles 🐕 She plays and lounges with her foster doggy sibling, who gives her so much comfort 🏆 She's even started toileting outside, and her foster family are so proud! 🦮 She's trying out her harness and doing really well 🏡 BUTTONS NEEDS: ✨ A friendly, confident dog to live with, play with and learn from ✨ Lots of patience and love to help her confidence grow After so much loss and hardship, this little girl deserves the world. 💛 Could you give it to her? Buttons came into foster 2nd November! Her Story During our spay campaign in Romania this July, so many people approached us asking us to take dogs they had rescued from the streets. Saying no is always the hardest part of what we do, but we have to be realistic about how many dogs we can safely care for. Then one little dog stole our hearts. Her name was Zippy, and tucked by her side was her tiny puppy, Buttons. Buttons had suffered some kind of injury to her front leg, and both she and her mum were so small. We knew they wouldn't survive another injury out on the streets, so we brought them both into our care. We had Buttons' leg X-rayed, and found that the bone had already healed and fused in an unusual position. It can't be corrected now, but Buttons has never let that hold her back. She runs, plays and gets around brilliantly, and you would hardly know there was anything different about her. Her leg is part of her story, but it doesn't define her. We just hope it won't stop someone from seeing what a special little girl she is.
