Description

Flash was 3rd born to Mum who had him in a second litter. Mum is Jack Russell and her parents are JackR short and long haired. Flash's dad is a Jack Russell cross Corgy but not much known on his side about parents as he was a rescue. Flash is 4 now and still very much puppy mentality. I feed my dogs Lidl range dog biscuits and meats and do a 'dog pot' for them including all left over foods such as pastries and pasta, all fruits and vegetables, eggs, bread and gravy. I usually add a human vitamin c tablet crushed to the pot as this helps them absorb more nutrients and also add a cod liver oil or omega 3 oil capsule, just cutting the capsule open and pouring oil on food. After the food is gone, I put out dry biscuits for them to snack on all day untill 9pm when I take all food away for 11pm bedtime. Flash grew up with his Mum and 3 other dogs from his litter and an extra dog from Mum's first litter. He is people friendly, though might bark at first, but generally runs up to people for attention. He is very quick!! Hence his name. Haha. He knows commands like:- Sit, fetch it, find it (when the other dogs have lost a ball, flash is guaranteed to find it!), treats! and take nicely!! Come Here, be quiet, PROTECT!! Wee and poo poo time!! Walkies!! Bed time. Flash does have a tendency to jump up because he's so small, I have accommodated that by leaning down to prevent the jumping. Flash had two older brothers always trying to be Alpha male and would let flash know he doesn't have a chance and he wouldn't fight for it. If anything they kind of always let him know they were bigger by growling and snapping at him bless him. Flash played really well with my granddaughter and I was always present when they would play, commanding him to be gentle and her too as she was the age from two to four. Flash absolutely loves a cuddle and when I took it in turns letting each one alone on my bed, flash loved it and would fall asleep quite quickly with me stroking his chest. Flash has been around 5 other dogs his mum and siblings his whole life, so I would not recommend Flash going to a home where there are other pets like cats or rabbits or birds or chickens because he doesn't know other such animals. Flash loves playing with a ball but doesn't like waiting for long times for another ball to be thrown, balls must be thrown quickly one after the other as soon as he's collected the first one, so he doesn't get frustrated. Flash does like to dig, so three good walks a day gets that out of his system. He's been raised as an inside dog, preferring a bed in a quiet place in the home to rest regularly. He is very alert and hears things coming a mile away, so once he is told, 'Ok, thank you, I'm here now!' he will snip barking. Stop barking commands is a clap of hands or clicking fingers or the 'tssssssstt' sound. Clicking fingers helps when walking him or calling him inside too. Flash hasn't been done and can be used to 'stud'. I am more than happy to have flash back at any time if the buyer feels they aren't getting on with him, however, payment would be non-refundable. I will be available to contact in the afternoon to 6pm evenings every day if the buyer requires information or advice. He has been a little cheeky, happy, confident bundle of joy. Sadly due to spinal, hips, bones and other disabilities, I am having to give up my precious dogs. It will truly fill me with joy to be able to place Flash within an adult family with no other pets, who are physically active for walks and cycling with Flash, to give him the exercise and attention he needs that I can no longer give him.
