Description
Aspen has not had an easy time. She is incredibly energetic and enthusiastic and unfortunately her previous owners did not have the time she requires to become the most amazing dog we know she can be and therefore she has been returned.
Unfortunately Aspen does not like cats and our other shepherd also is not keen on her and is becoming depressed. Hence why Unfortunately we are not in the position to keep her.
Aspen requires ALOT of training. She will not be rehomed to someone who has not had a German shepherd before.
A full behaviour report has been done on Aspen which I am happy to share.
Her ideal home would be someone who is home the majority of the time. No small children, being energetic the excitement levels young children bring will be detrimental to her training.
Other Dogs in the home should be medium to large. A confident dog who would be happy to play rough but also tell her no if they have had enough.
Aspen would also do well being the only dog as long as socialising training is kept up.
Aspen will require 2 to 3 visits minimum with her potential owners. Full home checks will be carried out.
Please note Aspen needs training, she will benefit from structured classes.
The improvements she has demonstrated in a week is incredible but she still has a very long way to go. We will be continuing her training untill the right home is found.
