Description
Atlas is a gorgeous, affectionate boy from Cyprus based in Motherwell, Scotland who is now one year old. He’s a mix mainly of herding breeds with German Shepherd and Belgian Malinois being the primary parts of his makeup. He’s full of personality, loving, intelligent and very pack-oriented forming strong bonds with his people.
Atlas has an abundance of energy and is very playful. He loves chasing a ball and will often happily carry one around in his mouth. He also loves any form of food and is highly food motivated which makes him rewarding to work with and gives him lots of potential to learn.
He benefits most from relaxed sniff walks where he can walk on a loose lead and let his nose do the work. After a good walk Atlas enjoys sleeping deeply and recharging whilst cuddled up on the couch with his favourite people before he’s ready for the next adventure. He has just been neutered and is still young so he needs continued guidance, enrichment and opportunities to develop into the best version of himself.
Sadly, Atlas has not yet found his permanent home because his current environment is not the right fit for him. He has become fixated on his feline brother and his instincts can take over, causing disruption within the home. For this reason, Atlas needs a home without cats where his adopters understand and are experienced with his mix of breeds.
Atlas is 100% a good boy with so much love to give. He simply needs the right home with people who understand his needs and can give him the freedom and support to be Atlas without unnecessary restrictions.
Atlas is vaccinated, blood test, Neutered and ready for your sofa
