Meet Dakota aka Daki🖤 She’s a 10 month old French Bulldog with a crazy, clever and loving vibe. Loves her walks on the beach and through parks, loves being in the garden sunbathing watching all the birds and insects and absolute loves a cuddle on the sofa. We picked her up December last year and have had a lovely memorable time with her and it breaks my heart to be posting her on here. We have severe commitments having a non-verbal autistic child and we have tried and tried for a connection between them two, it’s not Daki as she absolutely adores him but he won’t have her near him and I’d love to keep trying but there’s only so much he can take and I can understand with him being non-verbal. Daki is a wonderful little pooch like I said she knows her basic commands of sit, stay, lay down, up and ‘in your bed’ and is very quick and clever with listening. loves walks and meeting new dogs and most importantly their owners, she can become quite jumpy around bigger dogs but is playful and NOT aggressive. With smaller around her size is still very excited but she just wiggles her bum and gives them sniffs. Every person we walk past dog or not she has to have a nosy, whether that’s to get cuddles or just stop, sit and watch them go by, it’s very sweet. Daki prefers harnesses over collar although collar she wears at home. She prefers retractable leads as she likes to walk a little faster but with a simple ‘daki, wait’ she’s turns her head round in a strop and does indeed wait. Amazing around children of any age although can still become jumpy when excited because she just wants attention. She is crate trained for nighttime’s and through the day when she’s napping, We have tried beds and blankets but for some reason she either rips them up or thinks it’s a toilet so for now it’s puppy pads. There has been odd times she’s had an accident but it’s rare and she’s the only dog I’ve ever had that doesn’t BARK, not once have we heard a peep out of her. She doesn’t make any sort of noise for needing to go to the toilet so we do just let her out every couple of hours. Daki will be okay left in the house alone aslong as she’s in her crate. 4 hours is the longest we’ve left her and she was absolutely fine. Daki eats dry and wet food combined. Daki hasn’t been neutered. Being the only dog in the household she’s been amazing and we’ve been out with other dogs for walks before and she’s been unreal so I do think a dog pal would be okay for her and it may help her with all the excited shenanigans of jumping. I just want our girl to go to home of pure love and all the attention her heart desires, preferably a household who’s owned frenchies. She’s not on for a lot as we never got papers for her.
