April 2025 These salamanders are currently a mix of juvenile and adult larval, they have morphed and are now terrestrial but still enjoy an aquatic environment, they enjoy swimming so having a pauladerium set up is perfect unlike axelots once morphed they can be handled and make nice pets They are currently feeding on earth worms white and black worms and daphnia I have juvenile fully aquatic captive bred (March 2026) available too at £40 each. Depending on your interest they can remain fully aquatic retaining their larval characteristics and forego metamorphosis. This is known as facultative paedomorphosis for more than one season or you can reduce the water and tempt them onto land They are £100 each.
