Description
Beau is a six year old Blue Headed Pionus. He was hand reared and although not a cuddly bird, he loves head tickles, steps up and will happily sit on your shoulder.
He does talk a bit but pionus are not known for speech clarity.
Goes to men and women and is friendly with dogs. He has lived with other birds but he tends to ignore them.
He’s not a fan of veg but he’s fed on Harrisons pellets with some seeds. Love banana and apple.
He is a DNA’d male. Proof will be given.
He is one of the quietest birds I’ve ever known as he mutters, clucks and chirps. Very occasionally he’ll be a bit louder but not to the point of neighbours hearing him.
He currently spends most of the time out of his cage, we only cage him at night. He’s is not destructive at all, has never damaged furniture.
He loves to sit by a window and watch what goes on outside.
He will make someone, or some family a fantastic pet but equally he is of breeding age and could maybe go in an aviary. He has always been indoors.
He is for sale through no fault of his own but we are going travelling and feel it would be fairer to him to rehome him.
Beau comes with his cage and toys.
