I am looking for a loving forever home for this gorgeous 7-month-old female puppy. She is a very small, delicate toy breed cross. I was told she was a purebred Pomeranian, but looking at her features, I strongly believe she is actually mixed with a Long-Haired Chihuahua. She has a beautiful, silky cream-and-white coat and large, expressive eyes.We are now 3 days in, and she is already way more comfy in the home. She is a bit shy initially, but she does not mind being handled at all and is incredibly gentle. She absolutely loves to play like any happy puppy, loves her treats, and will nuzzle right into your side for cuddles once she knows you.Reason for Rehoming & Training Needs:I only brought her home a few days ago, but unfortunately, she is not the right fit for my personal circumstances. The previous owners showed me lovely videos of her running around their garden with their other family dogs, but they failed to fully disclose that she has never actually been walked or socialized outside.I got her with the intention that she would be ready to go on walks right away to help me with my own social anxiety. The key thing with her is that she needs a lot of help socializing outside. She has never been taught how to walk on a lead and has a lot of anxiety around outdoor traffic, loud noises, and opening gates. She requires a lot more fundamental confidence-building and training time than I am prepared or able to provide.Her Ideal Home:She is an incredibly sweet, sensitive little girl who needs a patient, gentle owner who lives in a quiet environment. She would thrive in a calm flat with a secure balcony or a house with a quiet garden where she can be taught lead-walking and outdoor socialization from scratch at her own pace.She is healthy, eating well, microchipped, and will make a deeply loyal, wonderful companion for the right person who has the time for training.
Progress Note:When I first got her a few days ago, she was extremely shy and anxious. I have been taking her out onto my balcony, which faces a very busy road. At first, she was very scared of the noises, but each time we went out, she got more and more confident. Because of this, I am very certain that with someone who can give her consistent, patient training, she will absolutely thrive.
PLEASE NOTE (Regarding Breed):I want to be completely transparentI only know as much as you know. The previous owners sold her to me as a purebred Pomeranian, and I do have photos of the mum and dad that I can show you. However, now that she is home, I have a strong feeling she is not a full Pomeranian and is likely mixed with a Chihuahua. Please look closely at her photos and ensure you are 100% happy with how she looks and her features before you choose to buy.
