Description
Tora and Evie are approximately 5 years old. They unfortunately came in to rescue in quite a neglected state just before Christmas. Since that time they have received extensive veterinary treatment and are now looking for their new start together.
Tora is the tortie and white girl who was in a worse condition than Evie. She was suffering quite badly with flea allergy dermatitis (FAD) which is where cats are allergic to flea saliva. This is easily managed by keeping up effective flea treatment.
They have thrived in their foster home and really come out of their shells. In their previous home they lived with dogs that chased them, so would prefer a home without dogs but could potentially live with one who would ignore them. They have also lived with a young child but do definitely prefer a calmer, quieter home so older children would be more suitable.
These beautiful cats have so much love to give and deserve the most wonderful home after having a tough start.
Rehoming criteria:
- Suitable for first time owners
- Could potentially live with a calm adult cat
- Could potentially live with a small, calm dog which ignored them
- Can live with older, calm children
- Will need outdoor access
- Can be left a working day
The minimum adoption fee is £185 per cat which includes:
- Neutering
- Microchip (there is a small fee to register/transfer ownership)
- At least the first vaccinations
- Up to date flea & worming
- A Pet Remedy new home kit
- 5 weeks pet insurance with Agria
- A blanket for a familiar smell
- Ongoing advice and support
Tora and Evie are in foster in Basingstoke.
