Description This handsome boy came to me for rehabilitation and training from a rescue that could no longer accommodate him. Sadly, he was at risk of being put to sleep despite having the most loving and affectionate temperament. He absolutely adores people and gets along very well with female dogs. He can also live alongside male dogs, provided they are well-socialised and neutral in temperament. He is confident and may stand up to dominant males if challenged. He is fantastic with children of all ages and has been faultless in his interactions with them. He is looking for a rural home where he can enjoy plenty of space. He is currently living with me on 15 acres and truly deserves a similar environment, if not better. He has been around ponies, chickens, ducks, goats, and pigs, and has shown no issues with any of them. He does display some lead reactivity towards other dogs when out on walks. However, this is very manageable, and he attends group training classes without any problems. As with many dogs, he may test boundaries with a new owner, so ongoing training and consistency are recommended to help him continue progressing. This is a wonderful dog with so much love to give, and he deserves a home that will appreciate everything he has to offer.
