🐶 Ronnie is a young male crossbreed (Chihuahua x Yorkshire Terrier x French Bulldog), just over 1 year old and small in size. He is full of personality, energy and heart — a proper little character who brings laughter and life into the home.
After almost a week in foster assessment, we are starting to see the real Ronnie.
He takes his time to warm up to new people. If you are patient and allow him to come to you at his own pace, he begins to trust — and once he does, you see how playful, loving and devoted he truly is. He has been following his foster around the home, bringing toys, asking gently for play, and showing a very sweet, affectionate side.

💔 Surrender Story
🐶 Ronnie came from a busy household with an adult and a 7-year-old child, alongside three cats and one small dog. As he grew up, it became clear that he needs a very different setup to thrive. Childs intensity, excitement and big feelings were simply too much for that environment, he became anxious and snappy. And his owner being not able to support him, surrendered him to our rescue.

Ronnie is a young, little terrier-type who needs guidance and structure.
This is what his foster says about him:
“Ronnie takes his time to warm up to people if you are patient with him and allow him the time to come to you he will start to trust you and show you how playful and loving he truly is. Ronnie needs some guidance/training with reactivity when walking on the lead. He is doing well with this, but this will need to be continued. Ronnie is house trained and knows the basic commands sit and down. Ronnie would be best suited with adults and as the only pet. Ronnie loves a cuddle and loves to play. Ronnie also enjoys his walks. Ronnie can be scared when there are sudden noises. Ronnie has been such a sweet boy to have around and has only been loving towards myself following me around, he is always getting his toys and hoping to play with my flat mate when he is around. Ronnie is such a character and brings lots of joy and happiness”
Ronnie can react if he feels pressured or physically managed in ways he dislikes. With calm, confident handling and clear structure, this is very manageable. He needs confident adults who won’t overreact, and won’t be intimidated by small-dog sass and who understand small dogs with big feelings.

🐶 Ronnie needs an adult-only home and is best as the only pet. He will thrive with someone patient and confident, who understands small dogs with big feelings, and who can continue his training kindly and consistently. A calmer household without other animals will help him settle faster, and the right person will find him funny, loving and genuinely rewarding to live with.
🐶 Ronnie isn’t a dog for a chaotic home, but for the right person he’s a little gem — affectionate, playful and full of heart. Give him time to trust you, and he’ll show you just how much love he’s been holding back.
