🐾 Cocker Spaniel Puppies – Working Mum × Show Dad 🐾
A very special litter combining the best of both worlds — Mum is a working Cocker and Dad is a show Cocker, and both Mum and Dad live here with us. They are incredibly intelligent, loving dogs with wonderful characters, and these little ones are already showing so much of that themselves.
These puppies will not be leaving at 8 weeks.
They will stay with us until around 12 weeks old, because those extra few weeks are incredibly valuable for their development. They have more time with Mum, more time learning alongside their littermates and, most importantly, more time experiencing the world properly before heading off to their forever homes.
As an animal behaviourist, early development and socialisation are hugely important to me. These aren’t puppies simply raised until they’re old enough to leave — we’re actively putting the foundations in place for the dogs they will become.
They are already:
🐾 Toilet trained
🐾 Crate trained
🐾 Playing fetch
🐾 Developing brilliant recall skills
🐾 Used to everyday household life
🐾 Handled and socialised from an early age
🐾 Building confidence through different sights, sounds, surfaces and experiences
They are bright, inquisitive little characters who absolutely love learning — which isn’t surprising considering their mum and dad!
By keeping them until approximately 12 weeks, I can continue building on their training, confidence and independence while still giving them the security of Mum and their siblings.
I am going to be very particular about where these puppies go.
They aren’t looking for the first available home; they’re looking for their forever homes. I want families who understand that a Cocker Spaniel is intelligent, active, affectionate and needs training, enrichment, companionship and plenty of involvement in family life.
For me, finding the right home for each individual puppy is far more important than simply finding them a home.
