We have had Kobe since he was 14 weeks old. He’s a great dog, just a pup. He’s very clever and knows a few tricks. He is extremely excitable and very dependent on his humans, whilst being incredibly loving at the same time. He doesn’t like to be left for long periods of time alone, but he also isn’t destructive. We have left him for up to 2 hours, he howls the whole time and is very stressed. He is very happy to travel in the car and needs a LOT of exercise daily. Ideally miles of walking, or access to a huge garden where he can sprint. When we have left him alone, it has been freely within the house, not locked in his crate, we did this one time and he peed, and pooped all over himself, so he’s much better being given free reign of the home, and he has never done an accident this way. Because he’s a pup he is still training, he does walk well after the initial 5 minutes of pure excitement, pulling, jumping up, and spinning. Kobe is fully trained to only go to the toilet outside. He sleeps wherever he wants in our house, but usually at the end of our bed (on the floor) or at the bottom of the stairs. He has a crate at home, which he uses freely, but doesn’t seem to have any rhyme or reason when he actually goes in. Please be aware that Kobe is extremely strong, he’s a pulling dog by breed and this is innate to his being. He’s very kind and gentle, as you can see in one of the pictures with my little baby, he absolutely loves children, but doesn’t realise his size. He gets excited and knocks them over by mistake. He has never once as much as shown teeth, he has a very gentle instinct with them, which will be his German shepherd side. He’s not walking off lead, we aren’t confident to do this ourselves but he absolutely has the capability to be in future. He requires a large living space, so I won’t allow him to move into a flat unless you have direct access to a large enclosed garden. During walks Kobe is eager to meet other dogs, but again he doesn’t realise his size. He is very excited, never shows any signs of aggression, and desperately wants to play. He will sit to wait at traffic lights, and after that initial 5 minutes will walk very well unless distracted, which is pretty common because he is gorgeous and people want to pet him. He’s always excited to meet people and does try to jump up, but doesn’t just try to jump up everyone, only if he is greeted first. He will come with his two crates, his indoor crate is a lords and labradors extra large crate, and his car crate with mat, he will come with toys, grooming brushes, lead and harnesses, food, his bowls, and his toys and games. The reason for rehoming is that we are unable to walk him as much as he requires which is leading to more hyperactive behaviour in the house, which we know is very normal for a bored dog, we unfortunately just don’t have time where I am disabled, and we have 3 young children under 5. He has flea treatment on the 21st of each month and worming treatment every 3rd month (he’s just had it this month). He is microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, is not neutered and was advised against neutering until he reaches 18 months due to his growth! His current weight is 27KG and he is expected to get larger. We paid £1000 in December, saw both mum and dad, mum was definitely a husky, with potentially some mali L/XL Size, I am 5ft2 and when she jumped up me, she was taller than I am. Father was 100% German shepherd M/L Size, and had a very calm/shy temperament, the parents, and other pups were all well kept and happy seeming dogs.
