Meet Zita ❤️ For the first time in her life, Zita is looking for a home of her own. At around two years old, Zita has already raised more litters than any young cat should have to. She originally came from a breeder, but instead of being kept safely indoors, she was left to have her kittens outside. When her latest litter was just days old, mum and babies were abandoned. Thankfully, they found their way to Penny Paws. One of our dedicated foster carers in Slough welcomed the whole family into their home, giving Zita somewhere warm and safe to raise her kittens while she recovered from pregnancy and birth. For the past couple of months, our focus has been on making sure Zita and her babies had everything they needed to thrive. Her three kittens are now old enough to begin finding homes of their own. On 30th July, Zita will be neutered and microchipped, bringing a dark chapter of her life to an end. She’ll never have to go through another pregnancy or raise another litter again. Now we’re looking for the home she’s never really had herself. ❤️ Ready to Apply? This is deducted from the adoption fee About Zita Zita is a lovely, gentle little cat who has settled beautifully into foster care. She’s affectionate with people, enjoys company and likes a fuss, but she’s equally happy finding a comfortable spot nearby and watching the world go by. She isn’t particularly keen on other cats, so we’d like to find her a home where she can be the only pet and enjoy all the attention for herself. After everything she’s been through, she deserves the chance to enjoy an ordinary life—finding sunny windowsills, claiming the best chair in the house, and being loved simply for being Zita.
