Description

Nala is our lovely 5-year-old Staffy x Saluki who is looking for a loving new home. She has been part of our family for years, so this is a very difficult decision for us and finding the right home for her is extremely important. Nala is a loving, playful and inquisitive dog with lots of personality. She loves attention, going for walks, exploring and being around people. She is great with children and has never shown any intention to harm anyone – she is generally a very happy, excitable and playful girl. She is interested and excited when she sees other dogs and usually wants the opportunity to meet and sniff them. If she sees another dog from a distance and isn’t able to approach, she may sometimes bark out of excitement. With cats, she is very inquisitive and interested in them, although cats aren’t always as interested in her! Nala is fully house-trained and is very good with being left at home alone. Due to our family’s work and other commitments, she is unfortunately left alone more often than we would like, which is one of the reasons we feel she would benefit from a new home where someone has more time to spend with her. Our family circumstances have changed and we don’t feel Nala is currently getting the time, attention and active lifestyle she deserves. We want her to have the opportunity to live life to the fullest with someone who has the time to give her plenty of exercise, affection and companionship. Nala received her vaccinations as a puppy but has not had her vaccinations kept up to date. She is not currently microchipped but I will look into doing this before we find her a forever home. We want to be completely transparent about this so her new owner can arrange anything she needs going forward. We are not looking to rush into rehoming her or simply let her go to the first person who enquires. We’d really like to know about prospective owners, their home and the life they could offer Nala. Ideally, we’re looking for a loving and permanent home where she will genuinely be treated as part of the family. Serious enquiries only please. Finding the right home for her is my priority.
