Description
I have a female french lop neutered female who turned 1 years old in February. She was bought as a companion for our male neutered boy, however despite multiple rabbit introduction services working with them, our boy just doesn't interact with her very well. She is a little nervous but overall once she knows the humans around her she is quite friendly. She happily nose boops for fusses and is litter trained, obviously she can't actually mark anymore but when going somewhere new, she will leave a little pee spot to claim it but it's minimal and not continuous. She gets lots of exercising in the coop in the garden but is an indoors bunny since we've had her, which is a year. She was spayed in April of 2025 at Zetland vets. She isn't really bothered by much anyway takes treats from your hands quite politely. She occasionally gets in a huff and ignores you but that's primarily if we are 10 minutes late with breakfast. Given the negative responses she's been given by our boy it was agreed that he is just a grump who won't tolerate her. Given that it's not going to work for this pairing we've had to think of what next. She can't spend forever being ignored by him and there's been no actual fights, or bites so sadly we are looking for a new home for her as the male rabbit we have was our original one. Ideally she needs some female energy around her as although she likes male humans, she quite likes chilling next to my partner, outdoor exercise obviously. She has been on science select food and hay since I've had her, and we will obviously send some change over food with her. We have a couple of cats and she's not really bothered by them being nearby, but we don't trust the cats so they have always been separate. Someone who has the time to get to know her and her little quirks would be amazing. Given the rejection of our boy, ideally another rabbit or someone with the intention of getting her a friend would be preferable. She's a lovely girl who tolerates grooming, but isn't a fan of nail clips, although again she's never bitten or been too annoyed by it, she's just a wriggler. If there's anything else you would like to know, please feel free to ask.
