Description
Due to a majour increase of my working hours I have had to made the very sad decision to offer my dog to someone who has more time to offer Port the exercise and stimulation he deserves.
Port is easily pleased with attention, walks and playing with other dogs. He currently lives with other dogs and would be suitable in an only dog household or with other dogs (dependant on the other dogs personality). He has met a variety a different people from a baby to an almost 80 year only and has been very friendly and excited with all of them. He has also been introduced to chickens, ducks, guinea pigs, rabbits and wild birds although I would not leave him unattended with them.
He is good in the car and enjoys days out, meeting new people and dogs. He has good recall with me and should with his new owner once bonded. He is confident with "sit, stay" even If there are distractions like other dogs or animals. He has shown interest in chasing other animals although when commanded to "leave it" he comes running back to me.
Due to his breed, younge age and working genetics he does require plenty of exercise so the new owner would ideally have a secure dog friendly garden or atleast time to take him on several walks daily. I will not be letting him go to someone if I do not think they are a suitable fit. I would also really appreciate it if i could stay in contact with the new owner. Please feel free to ask me questions
