Description
This is something we never thought we’d have to do, but we’re now looking for a loving and suitable home for one of our boys.
Milo is one of ours from a litter we bred just over a year ago. When he was a puppy, we noticed that something wasn’t quite right, so we took him to the vets. Hydrocephalus was suspected at the time, and because of this we made the decision not to sell him and kept him ourselves instead. We wanted to make sure he was okay and give him the best care we could.
Milo is now 16 months old, isn’t on any medication and generally leads a normal life. He is a happy, affectionate boy and has so much potential, but we’ve had to be honest with ourselves that we’re no longer able to give him the time and attention he deserves.
With work and family commitments, we’ve realised that we just don’t have as much time for him as we’d like. He would really benefit from someone who has the time to give him plenty of attention, regular walks and lots of stimulation, and we feel he would be much happier in that kind of home.
This is not a decision we’ve made lightly. We’ve kept him for the last 16 months because we care about him, and we want to make sure that wherever he goes next is the right home for him. We are therefore looking for someone who understands his history, is happy to give him the time and patience he needs, and is comfortable with the possibility of his previous suspected hydrocephalus.
Our vet did also advise that he would be better suited to a home where he is the only dog.
We’re happy to answer any questions honestly and would want to speak to anyone interested before making any decisions. We’re in no rush to let him go as his new home is much more important to us than anything else.
Our main priority is finding Milo a loving home where he can have plenty of attention, walks, love and a happy life🩵
