Description
Mursi is a very handsome lad who was rescued from the local pound, where he was abandoned alongside his brother. Sadly, his brother is still waiting at the pound, but Mursi has been lucky enough to make it into one of the shelters we work closely with. We think Mursi is a Podenco Galego cross. Podencos are traditionally used for hunting in Spain, with the Podenco Galego originating from the Galicia region in the north. Mursi may have a few other breeds mixed in too, he is certainly a very handsome boy!
Mursi is a sociable and playful dog who is affectionate, gentle and very sweet with people. He gets along well with the other dogs at the shelter, but we think he could also be happy as the only dog in his new home. He can live with children and could be cat tested for the right home. Mursi would make a lovely additional for an active family looking for a dog to enjoy adventures and plenty of time out and about with them.
