With a genuinely heavy heart, we're looking for a very special forever home for our beautiful Sahara. Sahara is a 6-year-old Black Golden Tipped British Shorthair who was originally imported from Russia because of her striking looks. She's only ever had one litter, but what makes her really special to us is her wonderful personality. She is the sweetest, gentlest girl - incredibly affectionate, calm and cuddly. She absolutely loves belly rubs and being fussed over, still has her playful moments and is always purring. She's a real gentle queen and we're genuinely very sorry to see her go. The reason we've made the difficult decision to rehome her is that Sahara is currently overweight. In a multi-cat household we've found it extremely difficult to manage her food intake individually, and our vet has advised that she should lose weight before being spayed. We feel she'd be much better suited to a quieter home where her diet can be properly managed and where she can have all the individual attention and affection she deserves. Sahara is being rehomed strictly as a much-loved pet and is not available for breeding. Once she has reached a suitable weight, we would expect her new owner to have her spayed in accordance with their vet's advice. Finding the right permanent home for Sahara is incredibly important to us. Ideally we'd love a quiet, loving household where she'll be thoroughly spoiled and can enjoy being the centre of attention. ❤️
