Bilbo is a lovely bearded dragon who has been with us for a few months and has been a pleasure to care for. He is very good with handling, has a funny, curious personality, and is confident with people.
He was around 2 years old when we got him from a family in Manchester via this site. Since then, his vivarium has been fully set up with climbing branches and a woodland-style background, along with coconut bedding which he absolutely loves. He spends most of his day and night perched on his favourite branch, happily observing everything around him.
Bilbo eats his greens well and takes his vitamins sprinkled on top with no issues. He enjoys extra-large crickets and dried mealworms and has a healthy appetite.
Unfortunately, as much as we care for him, we’ve realised that reptile ownership—especially bearded dragons—is something you don’t fully understand until you experience it. While Bilbo is wonderful, he isn’t quite the right fit for our home. This is a very difficult decision, and we want him to go to a home with a genuine interest in reptiles and bearded dragons, where he can continue to thrive.
Bilbo will come with everything he needs:

Complete enclosure setup
You would just need to continue providing live crickets weekly and replace bedding when you set him up in his new home.
Please note: due to the size and weight of the vivarium, 2–3 people will be needed for collection, including someone to safely hold Bilbo. A secure box or carrier for transport is recommended.
